OUTER BEAUTY
When in Copenhagen I often go for tea & scones at Perchs Tearoom. This is Copenhagens absolutely best and classic tea spot, and it´s a wholeheartedly family business. It's located on Kronprinsensgade 5, and the location couldn´t be more supreme, just off mainstreet Ströget and the big departement stores like Illum and Magasin. The tea could not be better (the only problem is the difficulty to choose) and the scones are to die for. Not too sweet, just perfect. With clotted creme and lemon curd. The sandwiches, to start the whole thing with, are also delicious. And of course you accompany the scones with a glass of bubbly Cremant as well...In fact I love everything about it, it is like a tea ceremony. And I also always buy new cans of tea to take home. I simply cannot resist the gorgeous tea cans that come in every colour...A tip is to book in advance though, which is easily done on the homepage, since this is a popular spot, especially on Saturdays.
