OUTER BEAUTY
I don´t know about you, but there are two cities that are constantly on my mind, New York and London. The latter one being much closer to home makes it the perfect weekend getaway and I can visit over and over again...

...and only agree with the famous quote "when a man is tired of London, he´s tired of life." I hate to admit it (publicly:) but for the moment, with chilly autumn evenings, all kids in bed, a good cup of chai tea...I´m sort of hooked on the London reality series Made in Chelsea. Not that it is that good, but even fashionable glossy magazine TATLER is hooked on the show and having its' own fashion assistant being part of the Made in Chelsea crew. My husband keeps telling me that I´m a bit older than the 20 somethings featured, but I don´t listen to nonsense. This is the perfect unwinding series when lusting for the glamour of London and everything British, like Harrods and grand country houses in the Cotsvolds for the weekends. Last time that I was in London was with ten girlfriends, visiting a friend living in London. When going to London you can preferably sta
y in one of the hotels in central London since it will give you easy access to the shopping, restaurants, culture and nightlife. Since it´s almost impossible to shop together with ten friends we decided to split into smaller groups or go alone (I actually shop most effectively alone:) and then have a daily meet up for drinks at the fifth floors' Champagne bar at Harvey Nichols in the late afternoon, which was very convenient for everyone. I think we´ll have to do it again, very soon.
